Kerbal Space Program is a 2011 space simulation video game developed by squad and blightworks and then published by Private division for platforms like Microsoft office windows, macOs, Linux, Play station and Xbox. The game first release was on 24 June 2011 then a beta was released on 14 December 2014 with version 0.90 and was released out of beta on 27 April 2015 and now the latest Update 2021 is the 1.12 update. A new version of the game, Kerbal Space Program has been announced for 2022 release.

What do you do in Kerbal Space program

In the game, you take command of a space program for a race of green humonoid aliens known as kerbals who have a huge ambition of conquering space. There will be a space center where there are facilities which you will use to build your spacecraft using different arrays of parts that flies or not based on real life aerodynamics and orbital physics i.e it takes air resistance, aerodynamics and real life scenarios into play, if the center of mass of your spacecraft is offset then your spacecraft will stilt and crash.
Kerbal space program has three gameplay modes which are the science, career and sandbox mode. In science mode
you use valuable information obtained by your spacecraft from missions to unlock new technologies to help your
Kerbals on future missions. In career mode you manage every aspect from strategy, funding, upgrading your facilities
and more. In sandbox mode everything is unlocked so you can let your imagination run wild and build anything you
think of in the game.
Kerbal space program is a difficult and not your average little game because it’s hundred percent rooted in physics.
If you feel up to it you can try but there will be time when it will break you and hurt your nerves and the same time
teach you and it demands a lot of attention. There are mods that can help you like Mechjeb mod that just basically
create manuever for you to get into orbit, perform interplanetary transfer, landing and accent guidance and finally
Docking but mods can only work on the PC version of the game.
